I have decided to create a whole series of short stories based on the premise of two characters from the Tales of the Wolf saga working together toward a common goal…hence the title – FORGED ALLIANCES.

Why a series of short stories?

I was challenged by one of my test readers to write a short story. She wanted a tale that only focused on one or two characters and a much smaller plot. She believed it would allow me to delve deeper into their personalities and character development. I have to say, she was right.

Why this story first?

Honestly, I had spent so much time with Hawkeye and Rjurik while i wrote ‘The Coming of the Wolf’ and 'Enter the Wolf' that I felt they deserved another tale.
